Named for the actor Dennis Quaid, Ryan is one of the few models with whom George Duroy never worked in person. He is a good performer and found his way into quite a few co-productions with other Czech studios. Lukas Ridgeston used him frequently. He was a fairly macho, masculine boy with no sexual inhibitions at all because he wanted work and earn money. He had everything very clear in his mind about his worth and would not work for peanuts. Ryan was a Serbian refugee who fled the American bombing and came to the Czech Republic as a young child under political asylum. "He lived in the Czech Republic but he stayed a Serb," George recalls. "He was very proud of his heritage." He was an exclusive [more] for some time and occasionally difficult to track down when we needed him. We don't keep in close touch with him anymore, but he was an enthusiastic top, a good performer, and George would happily put him to work again in the future if he indicates an interest.
