“About Chance,” says George Duroy, “I could write a book.” George considers Chance to be among the top-five sexiest models in the history of Bel Ami, and first spotted him on the April 1997 cover of “Jocks” magazine. “I don’t remember how I tracked him down, but somehow I did,” George recalls. Chance arrived in Bratislava never having shot any gay content; nor, George believes, had he ever had sex with another man. He was here to spend a week getting to know the company and, in particular, Johan Paulik, who was to be his scene partner. If it turned out they didn’t like each other, George would still have time to find the perfect partner, but it wasn’t necessary. “From the first minute, the chemistry [more] was perfect,” says George. “I knew there was enough chemistry to shoot a big scene with them.” Several months later, Chance was back to shoot “An American in Prague” and it was a disaster! “He stayed two weeks and we shot nothing usable,” George recalls. “He was nervous and uncomfortable, the weather was awful and I couldn’t shoot what I wanted.” George decided to send Chance home. He returned a few months later and filming started again from scratch; this time, we got it right. “The shoot was perfect and it shows on film,” George says. “To this day, I am sorry I didn’t structure it as a two-part film. But it was still worth the trouble and it is sone of my three highest-selling films. I daresay it is one of the bestselling films in the history of porn.” George regrets that he and Chance never worked together again. Two additional scenes were filmed but not released at the time; they were included on the DVD re-issue. “There is a very nice solo scene,” George says, “and a blowjob scene with Ion Davidov because neither of them wanted to bottom at the time.” George encounterd Chance several years ago and confirms that he still in good shape and just as sexy as we remember him.
